View your work suggestions in Jira

What are Jira work suggestions?
Jira work suggestions provide automated task recommendations generated from across multiple connected tools to help you decide which task you can do next. The work suggestions are available on scrum and kanban boards in Jira.
As you navigate through several tasks during your work day, it can be challenging to know what to work on next. It’s especially easy to lose sight of ad-hoc tasks, such as reviewing pull request reviews or resolving critical vulnerabilities, when managed with several tools in your toolchain With contextual, timely, and actionable work suggestions you and your team can eliminate bottlenecks and keep momentum in your day-to-day work. You can see information about the task at a glance making it easy for you to plan your work and stay ahead of what needs to be done.
Types of work suggestions
You’ll see customized work suggestions for you when:
a pull request has you added as a reviewer
your pull request has changes requested
there are failed deployments related to issues currently assigned to you
there are failed builds related to issues currently assigned to you
(on scrum boards only) there are critical security vulnerabilities related to issues in your sprint
(on scrum boards) an issue assigned to you in the current sprint blocks other issues
(on agile boards) an issue assigned to you in the project blocks other issues
View your work suggestions
Jira work suggestions are enabled for you by default.
To view your work suggestions:
Go to your Jira board and select your avatar to open the Work suggestions panel. The panel opens only if there are suggestions currently available for you and you haven’t previously disabled work suggestions from View settings.
Hover on or select a suggestion to view more information about the task and take action.
Select more actions (···) to snooze the suggestion for 24 hours or permanently remove it from your work suggestions list.
Your suggestions are only visible to you and won't be visible to other team members or admins.
Hide or show the work suggestions panel
Jira work suggestions are enabled for you by default. The panel appears on your board when you select your avatar and customized suggestions are available for the context of your work.
If you don’t want to see work suggestions on your board, select View settings and disable the Work suggestions toggle.
To bring back the panel, select View settings and enable the Work suggestions toggle.
