What happens to PLAN data when subscription is changed?

Summary
A very important question that comes to mind is what happens to PLAN data when a subscription is changed, say, from Premium to Standard. As we know, the PLAN feature is not available on a Standard subscription, and the moment we switch to a Standard subscription, the PLAN icon itself is gone from the UI. So, what happens to the data?

Solution
Please know that data is still retained in the database and should you decide to upgrade back to Premium, this PLAN data will become available one more time.
There are a few other things though that can be affected :
Release tracks - You will no longer be able to choose scheduled releases
Sandboxes - all sandboxes will be deleted if the target edition is Standard
