Clear unsaved changes to a Jira work item description field

Summary
When working with Jira Cloud, unsaved changes to the Description field are stored locally in the browser. Changes will persist across multiple tabs and browser sessions. If necessary, these changes can be removed from the local session.
Solution
Use developer tools to clear local storage
The unsaved data can be found in your browser's Development tools.
In Google Chrome:
Press CMD + OPT + I (MacOS) or CTRL + SHIFT + I (Windows) to open development tools
Select the Application tab
Select Local storage
Search/scroll to find your Jira Cloud site (https://<your_site>.atlassian.net)
Right-click or option-click > Clear
