Sprint field value is showing none

Summary

When a sprint is completed, the sprint field value shows 'none' with a number beside it. This article aims to explain this behavior.

Diagnosis

When an issue is associated with an active sprint, the sprint name is shown in the 'Sprint' field. When the sprint is completed, the sprint field value is cleared or changed depending on what was selected when the sprint was completed.

For completed or done issues, the Sprint field value is set to 'None'.

For open issues, the Sprint field value is set to either 'None' (if open issues are moved to backlog) OR a new sprint/existing sprint.
