Requests Not Displaying in JSM Cloud Customer Portal

Summary

If the Reporter field is hidden, you can't see your requests in the Jira Service Management Customer Portal.

Solution

Set the Reporter field as visible

If the Reporter field is hidden, Jira Service Management will not detect issues in the Request section of the Customer Portal.

In order to make this field visible again, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Project settings > Request management > Fields > Actions > Edit fields > Select the Field Configuration.

  2. Search for the Reporter field and click on Show to make it visible again.
