How to show/hide completed epics in the 'Epic Link' dropdown list

Summary
Not able to see the list of completed Epics in the Epic-link dropdown or hide them from appearing in the list.
Environment
Jira cloud
Diagnosis
An Epics is considered done when 'Epic status' is set to Done but not based on the Epic issue status=Done.
Cause
The 'Epic status' was set to Done, and the option to see closed Epic is not set.
Solution
Select the "Show done epics" checkbox to include the Epics marked closed by 'Epic Status'.
