What can I do to improve the way customers report bugs?
Here are some tips we recommend to improve the bug reporting experience in your portal:
Add instructions to your request types that use the bug issue type. You can encourage your customers to report each of their problems on a separate request to help track bugs.
Use natural language to ask for information. For example, if you add a field to collect expected behavior, you can say What did you expect to happen?.
Check in with your development teams often to ask if they need any more information.
Check in with your Jira administrators to ask if there are changes to screens that you should reproduce in your request types.
