Stop supporting a language

If you'd like to stop supporting a language, we recommend you disable it rather than remove it from your service project. That way, you can keep up with translations in case you want to enable it again.

To stop supporting a language:

  1. From your service project, go to Project settings > Language support.

  2. Find the language in the list.

  3. Turn off the toggle next to the language in the Available to customers column.

When you disable a language, customers who had set it as their preferred language will have a fragmented experience. They will see some of the content in the portal in their preferred language (for example, Log in or Profile), and rest of the content, like request types and notifications, in the service project’s default language.

This page is for company-managed projects

If the lower-left of your service project sidebar says you're in a team-managed project, check out these team-managed project articles instead.
