Link an asset to a request in next-gen service desks
You must have a supported asset management app installed to link an asset.
To link an asset to the field:
Go to the request to which you’d like to link an asset.
In the sidebar, you may see a few fields which support asset links. Select the most appropriate field, then select + Link asset.
Search for assets.
Select the asset you want to link. This will automatically add the asset link to the field you chose in step 2.
If you do not see any search results:
Check your app is set up correctly by referring to its setup guide.
Make sure you have assets in your asset management system.
Ensure that request type includes an asset field.
