The new sidebar is powerful, context-sensitive, and doesn't get in your way. It merges most of the old header and sidebar navigation links. It better organizes these links and shows the right ones only when you need them.
The sidebar consists of two parts:
- A global sidebar that is always displayed
- Either an application sidebar or a project sidebar, depending on your context. Read more about the contextual sidebar.
The global sidebar always shows, no matter where you are in any Jira Cloud product. It provides quick links to get to your Jira home page, search for things, create issues, and more.
Navigate to your Jira home
Depending on what Atlassian Cloud products you use, you will see a different logo that navigates to your Jira home.
