Delete an asset field
You can delete an asset field if you don’t intend to use it again. If you want to use it again, you can hide the field.
You must have an asset management app installed and be a Jira administrator to add delete asset fields.
To delete the custom field:
Go to Settings () > Issues.
Find and select the field you want to hide.
Select … > Delete.
Select Delete to confirm deleting the field.
