Add asset fields in next-gen service desks

You can link multiple assets on a single request by adding one or more asset fields. Make sure you have an asset management app installed and that you’re logged in as a Jira project admin to add additional asset fields.

To add additional asset fields:

  1. In your next-gen Jira Service Desk project, go to Project settings > Request types.

  2. Drag the Assets box under Create a field into the Internal fields form builder.

  3. Name the new asset field.

  4. Optionally, select an asset type to only show assets of that type.

  5. Click Save changes.

  6. Complete steps 2-5 again to add more asset fields.
