Can't add Flag to issues in service project

When attempting to flag an issue in service project, you may encounter the following error message:

1 2 We couldn't flag this issue Check your connection and try adding the flag again.

Environment

Jira Service Management Cloud

Solution

  • It's important to note that flagging issues is not directly supported in Jira Service Management, we are tracking this in the following Suggestion Request: Have the ability to "Add Flag" and "Remove Flag" from "..." menu

  • However, we can achieve this through the Command palette.

  • To successfully flag an issue, the user must have an active Jira Software license.
