Assist creates a test Jira Service Management Cloud ticket with an unknown reporter jsong@example.com

Summary

When an Agent channel for JSM Chat is created in Slack and is connected to the Assist bot, there is a button available to create a test ticket with the new channel. Pressing this button creates a test ticket with the reporter set as jsong@example.com.

Solution

After connecting your Agent channel in Slack to your JSM project, you will receive a whisper message from Assist with the button "Test Agent Channel."

This button will create a test ticket originating from the agent channel with jsong@example.com as the reporter. This is a test user who will be added to your customers, just as a new external user opening tickets would, but it is not an active user and can be deleted manually if you desire.
