Cause

“Auto-populate Estimate” is a field toggle present on the “Kanban Team” details panel. If the affected Agile Team was changed from a Kanban Team at some point in the past, the “Auto-populate Estimate” field can remain enabled in some circumstances which can lead to this error.

Solution

1. “Auto-populate Estimate” is a field toggle present on the “Kanban Team” details panel. If the affected Agile Team was changed from a Kanban Team at some point in the past, the “Auto-populate Estimate” field could remain enabled in some circumstances, which can lead to this error.

2. Disable the "Auto-populate Estimate" toggle

3. Change the "Type" field back to "Agile Team"

4. Save changes.

5. You should now be able to assign the Team to a new Program without error.
