Defect Allocation showing 'Not Allowed' under Sprints in Jira Align

Summary

Under Sprints details > Member’s tab > ‘Task Allocation & Defect Allocation’ columns, specifically the second column, which corresponds to the ‘Defect Allocation’ column shows the ‘Not Allowed’ message.

Solution

Enable the ‘Defect Allocation’ toggle as per Jira Align - Sprint Capacity

• Defect Allocation: The total number of hours allocated for defect remediation. To set defect allocations for team members in a sprint, the Enable Defect Allocation setting found at Administration > Platform > Team must be enabled

After enabling the toggle the Defect Allocation column is shown.
