Set up Compass
Learn how to set up Compass and integrate it with Atlassian products and applications.
A scorecard applied to a component provides the following information about its health:
an overall score, which is a sum of percentages of completed criteria in the scorecard
a list of complete and incomplete criteria
the scorecard’s details, criteria, and percentage for each criterion
You can view this information in the scorecard located on the component's details page.
Scorecards use the following statuses, colors, and default percentage ranges to convey health:
Failing (red): 0% - 49%
Needs attention (yellow): 50% - 99%
Passing (green): 100%
To view a component’s health:
Go to the component's Overview page in Compass.
Locate the scorecard under the Scorecards section.
View the overall score on the scorecard.
Select the scorecard to view the scorecard details, the overall score, met and unmet criteria along with their weight percentages, and more.
After you view the score, you can take the required actions to fulfill the unmet criteria and update the score.
If your site uses a restricted permission policy, you must be the owner of the scorecard you're changing or a product admin.
A component’s score is the sum of percentages of all completed criteria in the scorecard. When a component fulfills a scorecard criterion, Compass adds the percentage assigned to that criterion to the component’s overall score. For example, if adding an owner is a criterion, Compass updates a component’s score when you assign an owner team to it. As you fulfill more unmet criteria, the component’s score increases.
To update a component’s score:
Go to the component's Overview page in Compass.
Locate the scorecard under the Scorecards section.
Select the scorecard to view the scorecard details.
Take appropriate actions to fulfill any unmet criteria. Update the component details as required.
Refresh the page and view the scorecard to see the updated score.
