How to disable Fisheye during the evaluation of Crucible?

Platform Notice: Data Center Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the Data Center platform.

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center KBs for non-Data-Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Support for Server* products ended on February 15th 2024. *Except Fisheye and Crucible

Summary

Perform the steps below, to disable Fisheye and enable only Crucible in your instance.

Solution

During installation

To disable Fisheye and have only Crucible enabled, provide just the license for Crucible during installation.

Post installation

If Fisheye/Crucible has already been enabled during your evaluation, Fisheye can be disabled by performing the following:

  1. Log in to Fisheye Administration area.

  2. Click System Info (under 'System Settings').

  3. Click Edit License and remove the Fisheye license

  4. Click Update.

Check the logo on the header to verify if Fisheye had been disabled. If Fisheye has been disabled, only the Crucible logo should be displayed.
