How to Change OpenID Server Context Path

Description

For a number of reasons you may need to change the Crowd OpenID URL. This article describes the steps to modify the context path /openidserver to a different path.

Resolution

  1. Stop Crowd

  2. Navigate to the folder <crowd install>/apache-tomcat/conf/Catalina/localhost

  3. Rename the file openidserver.xml to the new desired context path

  4. Restart Crowd
