Page properties information is not displayed under the Page Properties Report macro

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

When the Page Properties macro is used in combination with the Page Properties Report, a specific page used within the Page Properties macro does not display its information within the report.

Diagnosis

  • Confirm that you have the page within the Page Properties macro, using the specific label and parameters from the Page Properties Report one.

  • If more pages are used for the report, check if these pages are properly displayed as well.

Cause

Since the table must have either a header row or a header column in order to retrieve the information from Page Properties into the Page Properties Report, make sure that the table has the header in question. Otherwise, although the table is added to the macro, the information will not be retrieved.

Solution

Add the header row or header column to the page within the Page Properties macro:

  1. Go to the page with the table within the Page Properties and edit it with the pencil icon at the top right.

  2. If you select the table within the page properties, you will see a button called Table options at the bottom of the table.

  3. Select the Header row (or Header column) option.

  4. Once this is done, save the page with the Publish button.

ℹ️ If the new/current editor is used, ensure the column/row header texts don't have any whitespaces.
