How to disable space mail archiving

Platform Notice: Data Center Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the Data Center platform.

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center KBs for non-Data-Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Support for Server* products ended on February 15th 2024. *Except Fisheye and Crucible

Purpose

If you want to restrict users to create a space archive on a Confluence space, you can disable this feature by disabling Mail Archiving Plugin on your Universal Plugin Manager.

Solution

1 Administration >> Plugin >> Show System Plugin >> Confluence Mail Archiving Plugin

By disabling the above plugin, the Mail tab on space administrator won't be available
