Confluence Activity Stream Gadget is broken

Problem

Confluence Activity stream Gadget is broken and shows either of following:

In Firefox:

In Google Chrome:

Cause

Confluence base URL is not configured correctly.

Resolution

Configuring the Server Base URL to point to the correct URL.
