How to disable browser extensions / add-ons / plugins

Platform Notice: Cloud Only - This article only applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

Disabling browser extensions or add-ons is a common troubleshooting step when dealing with browser-related issues, as these extensions can sometimes interfere with the performance or functionality of platforms like Bitbucket Cloud.

By temporarily disabling extensions or add-ons, you can assess whether they are the source of the problem you are experiencing. If disabling them resolves the issue, you can then decide to either update or remove the problematic extension to ensure a smoother experience with Bitbucket Cloud.

It's a good practice to isolate potential causes during troubleshooting, and dealing with browser extensions is often one of the initial steps to identify and address compatibility issues.
