How to exclude specific branches from being removed due to inactivity in Bamboo

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Summary
Plan branch cleanup may be enabled on a plan to cleanup inactive branches. However, it may be necessary to exclude certain long lived branches such as 'develop' from cleanup as the rules are desirable to keep feature branches under control only.
Solution
Plan branch cleanup can be disabled on a per plan branch basis. To configure this:
Visit Configure Branch >> (Branch Details tab)
Uncheck Clean up plan branch automatically
